Completion of Cycle 1- Action Research Plan

After doing some tweaking to my plans, Cycle 1 is now complete. All students have completed their drafts for their digital story. Eleven have now edited, revised and are ready to publish. This was all completed February 5, 2010. My original plan had called for a completion date of January 29th, so we were not too far off schedule.

The problem I ran into, was that some of the students were more interested in painting their avatars than in writing their stories.

I put the avatars away and explained that they could resume painting once the fnal draft had been approved. This was the motivation needed for those 10 students to accomplish their tasks.
